1. Overview

Frenchie Coffee Roasters LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) understands that plans and preferences change.
This Cancellation Policy explains when and how orders, subscriptions, or events can be canceled, and what refunds or credits (if any) apply.


2. Retail Orders (Online & In-Store)

2.1 Canceling an Online Order Before Shipment

  • You may cancel a standard online order within 2 hours of purchase by emailing [insert email] or replying to your order confirmation.

  • After your order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled.

If your cancellation request is received in time, we’ll issue a full refund to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.

2.2 Orders Already Shipped

Once your order has shipped, cancellations are not possible.
If you no longer wish to receive the item, please refer to our Refund & Return Policy


3. Subscription Orders

Subscriptions renew automatically based on monthly schedule.

3.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel or modify your subscription anytime by:

  • Logging into your Frenchie Coffee account, or

  • Emailing frenchiecoffee@gmail.com at least 48 hours before your next scheduled renewal.

3.2 Renewal & Billing

If you cancel after renewal has already processed:

  • The current order will still be fulfilled and shipped.

  • Your cancellation will take effect before the next renewal cycle.

Refunds for already-processed subscription orders are not available due to product perishability.


4. Event Bookings & Mobile Coffee Cart

4.1 Deposits

To reserve our coffee cart or event services, a non-refundable deposit (typically 25–50%) is required.
This deposit secures your date and covers preparation and scheduling costs.

4.2 Cancellations by Customer

  • More than 14 days before event: Deposit remains non-refundable but may be applied to a future booking within 6 months.

  • 7–14 days before event: 50% of the total booking fee will be retained.

  • Less than 7 days before event: 100% of the booking fee may be retained due to staffing and product preparation costs.

4.3 Cancellations by Frenchie Coffee Roasters

If we must cancel due to weather, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund of any payments made, or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

We are not responsible for cancellations due to factors beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, local ordinances, or venue restrictions).


5. Gift Cards & Digital Products

All gift card and digital product sales are final and non-refundable once issued or delivered.
They cannot be canceled or exchanged for cash except where required by law.


6. Special Promotions & Limited Releases

Items sold as part of limited promotions, pre-orders, or collaborations may have unique cancellation or refund terms, clearly displayed at checkout.
These terms override this general Cancellation Policy when applicable.

Pre-orders
When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect no payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date. 

You can cancel a partially paid pre-order order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can request a full or partial refund. See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds.

Try before you buy
When you purchase a try before you buy item, we authorize your payment method before fulfilling the order. You will have a certain amount of time to decide if you want to keep the item. Once the time period has passed, if you have not returned the item, we will charge your payment method for the full amount.


7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations, non-performance, or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather

  • Power or internet outages

  • Shipping carrier disruptions

  • Government regulations

  • Labor strikes or emergencies

We will make good-faith efforts to communicate promptly and offer rescheduling or credit when possible.


8. Refund Processing

Approved cancellation refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after confirmation.
If your refund does not appear after 10 business days, contact your bank or card provider before reaching out to us for verification.


9. How to Request a Cancellation

  • If applicable, your preferred reschedule date

You will receive confirmation within 1–2 business days.


10. Legal Compliance

This policy aligns with:

  • FTC’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR Part 435)

  • FTC “Cooling-Off Rule” exemptions (coffee and perishable items are excluded)

  • Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act

  • And all major credit-card network refund and cancellation standards.

We reserve the right to update or amend this policy without prior notice. The most current version will always be posted on our website.
